{"id":5756,"date":"2022-06-16T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.numeryx.fr\/numeryx-makes-rd-a-key-factor-in-attracting-talent\/"},"modified":"2024-09-12T10:14:47","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T08:14:47","slug":"numeryx-makes-rd-a-key-factor-in-attracting-talent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.numeryx.fr\/en\/latest-news\/the-news\/numeryx-makes-rd-a-key-factor-in-attracting-talent\/","title":{"rendered":"Numeryx makes R&amp;D a key factor in attracting talent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dr-mondher-ayadi-4342153\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mondher Ayadi<\/a> is the founder of the French NUMERYX group, which specializes in IT engineering services and continuing education. <a href=\"https:\/\/managers.tn\/2022\/06\/15\/mondher-ayadi-pdg-du-groupe-numeryx-nous-avons-fait-de-la-rd-un-axe-dattractivite-des-talents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Managers<\/a> caught up with him during a recent visit to Tunisia to talk about the group&#8217;s achievements and ambitious plans.\nInterview. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tell us about the start-up of Numeryx.\nHow did you come up with the idea of creating this company? <\/h2>\n\n<p>The NUMERYX story began in 2012 when, in collaboration with the Cynapsys group, I set up Cynapsys Technologies.\nThis adventure crowned a career spanning several years with major companies such as Siemens and Altran.\nThe company, offering services linked to web &amp; application development and digital transformation, has succeeded in establishing itself on the French market, particularly in the banking-insurance, automotive and energy sectors.\nIn 2018, the company officially became NUMERYX.\nA year later, we set up our Tunisian subsidiary.\nFrom the outset, we chose to focus on people, giving major importance to our employer brand.\nThis is a pillar on which we want to build the company&#8217;s development.      <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does Numeryx do?<\/h2>\n\n<p>In the beginning, NUMERYX&#8217;s activities were mainly focused on services, in particular consulting in the field of information systems.\nExperts in information systems consulting and architecture made up our initial capital.\nThis gave us a strong foothold in the French market, and enabled us to forge several partnerships with major groups such as Atos and Capgemini.\nSince then, we have succeeded in developing new skills in the industrial sector, focusing on the link between digital and industry, particularly through the Internet of Things (IoT).\nWith this focus, we were subsequently able to cover other areas linked to software publishing and the cybersecurity of SD-WAN networks.\nAs a result of this rapid evolution, we are now a company with over 200 employees.\nNUMERYX has also succeeded in developing new activities such as training, R&amp;D and innovation as part of our long-term vision.      <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is a service company interested in training?<\/h2>\n\n<p>In a constantly changing world, training is essential.\nAnd at NUMERYX , we have chosen to develop training with an operational tinge closely linked to business needs.\nToday, we see a real need in the market for training in the fields of cybersecurity and the cloud, as well as in new approaches such as the agile method, DevOps and DevSecOps.\nThis is why we created <a href=\"https:\/\/university.numeryx.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Numeryx University<\/a>, which was recently awarded Qualiopi certification by the French government.\nNumeryx University currently boasts a catalog of over 140 training courses, not only for our customers and partners.\nAs part of our managerial approach, we also offer them to our employees, so that they can stay at the cutting edge of technology and shape their careers and development with us.\nOur training courses are available in both e-learning and distance learning formats.      <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you also do research and development?<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>That&#8217;s right.\nR&amp;D gives us the opportunity to focus on future issues on which we can position ourselves.\nThis is currently the case for cybersecurity.\nWe have succeeded in developing a new-generation firewall, which we have named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sasyx.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asguard<\/a>, based on a new patented filtering technology developed in-house.\nThis firewall is currently undergoing certification by France&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/cyber.gouv.fr\/decouvrir-lanssi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agence nationale de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;information (ANSSI)<\/a>.\nWe expect to bring it to market in 2022. The firewall has reached TRL6 maturity, which has enabled us to offer this product to our customers for proof-of-concept purposes.\nAnd I&#8217;m happy to say that benchmarking of this product has revealed much better performance than similar products offered by the competition.\nIn addition to this firewall, we are also studying the possibility of opening up to other areas of R&amp;D linked to the security of the Internet of Things.       <\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.numeryx.fr\/file\/2023\/09\/Mondher-Ayadi-CEO-et-fondateur-de-Numeryx.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1405 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why this interest in R&amp;D?<\/h2>\n\n<p>This activity has given us a strong presence in France&#8217;s entrepreneurial ecosystem.\nWe are a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/lafrenchtech-paris-saclay.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FrenchTech Paris Saclay<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/systematic-paris-region.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Systematic competitiveness cluster<\/a>.\nNUMERYX is also a member of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.anrt.asso.fr\/fr\/accueil-anrt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">French National Technology Research Agency (ANRT)<\/a>, which has enabled us to take part in thesis projects with research laboratories and universities.\nIn this respect, our collaboration with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inria.fr\/fr\/securite-des-reseaux-des-algorithmes-dans-la-tour-de-controle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Inria<\/a> on topics related to next-generation firewalls was a great success.\nWe have also just launched a new project in collaboration with the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvsq.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Versailles Saint-Quentin<\/a>, focusing on Artificial Intelligence applied to cybersecurity.\nAnd that&#8217;s not all!\nThis rich R&amp;D activity plays an important role in our strategy of developing human capital.      <\/p>\n\n<p>These ambitious projects enable us to retain our employees by offering them a motivating environment conducive to innovation.\nAnd I believe that this is an important element in enabling our employees to project themselves into the future. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do you deploy your vision of human capital development?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Our company&#8217;s heritage lies in its human capital.\nIt is these skills, and the way in which we organize them, that enable us to deliver offers and solutions that meet the needs of the market.\nFor us, building our employer brand is a daily objective.\nTo achieve this, we spare no communication effort, both internally and externally.\nI&#8217;m convinced that the development of human capital is the key to enabling a company to grow from an SME into an ETI and, eventually, into a group.    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is your business developing?<\/h2>\n\n<p>We managed to double our sales between 2017 and 2018 and achieve a 50% increase between 2018 and 2019.\nIn 2020, we maintained our sales despite the crisis.\nAnd in 2021, growth resumed and we were able to improve our sales by 15%.\nThe company has also strengthened its presence by multiplying agencies in France: in addition to Paris, we are present in Normandy, Le Havre, and, since the beginning of the year, in the Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region, in Lyon, not forgetting our Tunisian subsidiary which we set up in 2019.\nToday, NUMERYX Tunisia has two premises, to which we have added a delivery center and R&amp;D center.    <\/p>\n\n<p>We&#8217;d like to thank the entire team at <a href=\"https:\/\/managers.tn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Managers<\/a> magazine for the quality of our discussions: https: <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3h9G9jv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\/\/bit.ly\/3h9G9jv.<\/a>\nIt was a very interesting and enriching experience. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mondher Ayadi is the founder of the French Numeryx group, which specializes in IT engineering services and continuing education.<br \/>\nManagers caught up with him during a recent visit to Tunisia to talk about the group&#8217;s achievements and ambitious plans.<br \/>\nInterview.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":5126,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[183],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5756","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
