NUMERYX continues its R&D&I work, producing a new scientific publication at GIIS2024 in Dubai with its CIFRE PhD student AymeneSelamnia.

What is Global Information Infrastructure and Networking (GIIS)?

GIIS’2024 is an IEEE conference that encompasses an interdependent set of technical, political and social issues implicit in the development of national and international (global) information infrastructures and networks.

GIIS aims to identify and promote the exchange of knowledge on these interdependent issues, and liaises with global society organizations, technical forums and international standards.

Why is it important to be there?

At the conference, our PhD specialist in AI, IoT and Cybersecurity presented the fruit of his research entitled ‘𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐼𝐼𝑜𝑇 𝐴𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝐷𝐷𝑜𝑆 𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑠: 𝐴 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝐴𝑝𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑐ℎ’.

This document is part of the Internet of Things framework, focusing on industrial IoT (IIoT) and its security.

An important topic is addressed: protecting IIoT infrastructures against DDoS attacks.

The article’s methodology is based on behavioral analysis and threat modeling to predict attacks in their early stages.

With this article, we salute:
Aymene Selamnia for his scientific breakthroughs, which feed our knowledge in IoT, AI and Cybersecurity,
– our research partner ENSICAEN – Teaching, training and research.
– the supervisors of this thesis Lyes Khoukhi at ENSICAEN, as well as our CEO Prof. Dr. Mondher AYADI and our CTO Ahmed Abdelkader Bouaziz
Canadian University Dubai for organizing this international event.
